Readers, we have a problem. Ok maybe it's not technically a "problem," but it's certainly something requiring my attention. Yesterday's teaching outfit and resulting photos have convinced me that I need to either put a moratorium on wearing trousers OR that I need to buy a new pair in a smaller size to wear during this ongoing transformative process. Look at how freaking huge those pants are on me! Holy smokes! I actually thought that they looked ok when I left the house. Seriously, I thought they were a LITTLE loose, but WHOA! They are super loose.
I knew something was wrong when I was tripping over the hems all day. And let's talk about my blouse. It's brand new from Dress Barn and desperately needs to be belted. Thankfully it's a size smaller than I would have normally bought which means I have some time before it's swimming on me. Besides, it's meant to be flowing as seen in the winged sequined sleeves.
Yeah, there's about two inches of room in my waist! WAHOO!!! I'm DYING to weigh myself tonight ... gosh, I wonder how much I lost!?! Needless to say, I'm going to be sticking with skirts for now on. I find that A-line skirts are a Bat Fitter's best friend because they aren't supposed to be form fitting, allowing a bit of wiggle room for weight lose. Sheeze, I'm going to have to buy a whole new wardrobe .... again. You know this isn't a bad thing, right? :) HELLZ YEAH!
The Run Down:
Trousers: Lane Bryant
Blouse: Dress Barn
Loafers: DSW
Silver necklace and silver earrings: gift from Mom
Yay!! Congratulations, I know it's not the easiest task to keep on track with a healthy life style (in regard to both eating "clean" and exercising), especially with a schedule as busy as the University's one is ;), but you're doing great!I still have to say you're really an inspiring model :) - in so manu ways!I'm thinking about joining Bat Fit too; I usually eat clean and walk at least an hour a day (the 3-something miles distance from the train station to the University ^^)but sometimes, especially when stressed out, I just go...blah :( and find myself falling into bad habits (indulgin'in too much comfort food, mostly). But enough with negative stuff: congrats on your successful journey into an healthier lifestyle!

ReplyDeleteBut I'm an complete looser, I gained 2 pounds last week, F**K!
Even if I had an horrible tooth ache and wasn't very hungry. But now I'm back on track again. Thanks for your inspiration and congratulations to your successful wheight loss.
NO NEGATIVE TALK! You had a hick-up. You are NOT a loser! NO!

Wow, congrats! It's indeed visible, especially on your face and cheeks! :)
ReplyDeleteJust like linnea-maria, I was ill and I couldn't eat anything except for soups, but my weight didn't change, I'm afraid, I even gained some centimeters...but I got a rope today, so I can start ropeskipping and do some exercises and watch my eating habts again from tomorrow. ^^
Thank you! And keep up with the good work. It's not what happens in the short amount time, but rather what happens over a long amount of time that makes a difference.

Thank you! hehehe ... I know, right? ;)
DeleteNah, it's not worth beating yourself up. Just keep going, give yourself some love and know that it's about the long haul and not the short sprints.
